Southside Johnny was in the studio today contributing his bluesy harmonica talent to the Otis Rush song "Homework" for the upcoming Solomon Hicks album.

Eddie Landsberg - Hammond Organist (originally from Philly but now residing in Japan) came in to cut an album with Jerry Weldon (tenor sax), Rudy Petschauer (drums), and Masami Ishikawa (guitar).

Casey Davis - came up from Maryland to do a three-song country/rock demo for a Nashville industry presentation.


Nadia Villani - Opera singer came down from Canada and completed 12-track demo of a Tribute to Luciano Pavarotti. Jeff engineered, Johnny Vines assisted.


Nate Mayfield - Crooner from Colorado came out and completed a 12-track demo of 1920s to 1950s pop standards, mostly from the Great American Songbook.


Rob Dye - guitarist & Classic Rocker was in the studio with Askold Buk to record their co-write “Our Christmas Song” sung by Byron Smith, with a horn section led by Rick Brunermer on tenor and bari saxes, Eddie Mendez on trumpet and Mike Ghegan on alto sax. Jeff engineered and played piano and organ. John Nuzzolo assisted.


Nancy Ryan completed her CD, Ryan Rocks with Tom Cottone, drums; Chris Plunkett, bass; Jon Herington, guitar; John Thompson, guitar; Steve Lusardi, piano. Jeff engineered, mixed and mastered, assisted by Barbara Abbott.


Composer, Guitarist and Pianist Todd Sherman recorded his song “Drinking for the Pain”, co-written and performed by bassist Chris Plunkett with Todd on acoustic guitar and his sons, Sam Sherman (18) on piano and Ben Sherman (13) on drums.

Other personnel includes Byron Smith, vocals & 2nd acoustic guitar, and Marc Muller, pedal steel.

Jeff was at the controls.


Klyde Jones, singer/songwriter, musician and current bass guitarist for The Average White Band was in Organic Sounds to overdub Jeff on Hammond B3 for his first upcoming solo CD release.


New York-based musician, record producer, and songwriter Mark Plati, widely acclaimed for his work in the 1990s with David Bowie, brought Lynn VerLayne (originally from Belgium) to Organic Sounds for keyboard overdubs along with her producer Frank Duchene.


Jeff is mixing tracks for drummer Maiko Ono's upcoming jazz CD release featuring John Beaty on Saxophone.


Jeff completed the music audio mixes for the new John Eddie's DVD, which was released November 26 at the Stone Pony, Asbury park.


C. Lanzbom of Soul Farm and singer/songwriter Dov Rosenblatt were recently in the Organic Sounds studio working with Jeff on Organ O-dubs for their new collaboration.
